guys.. don’t you feel bad for wes on WFW 66? our appreciation of his works are actually pressuring him :( 

shouldn’t we let him all feel that we love him not just because he is “creative”? we love him cuz his wesley right? cuz his THE WESLEY CHAN! even if he doesn’t talk, we still love him! i know you guys would agree if i’d say that we understand him when his off. we know that he’s human, just like us who love him! (okay, except totoro) 

i’ve sent a message to wes to personally let him know how i feel about this thing. but i’m afraid he won’t be able to read it. and you guys, who understand how i feel, are in the best position to let wesley know this. guys, let’s tell wes not to be too hard on himself :( we appreciate him for taking his time and effort on anything that he wants to share with us. but at the same time, we want him to have fun and enjoy life! then with that, we would be happier for him :]

I agree I feel bad for Wes too, it’s been on my mind as well.. As a designer and quite a perfectionist, I can relate how Wes feels.. it’s a good thing to know he’s always trying hard, and we all know he works very hard (I’m sure Phil & Ted as well), he really does. Wes stayed up to finish some writing while touring in Malaysia, and I believe the guys went straight back to shooting and all upon returning to LA, there’s no doubt about how hard they work and trying to live up to expectations as their attention in the public eye grows. While on tour, Wes and Phil did mention that they try very hard to produce quality work as they’ve been doing so, and the pressure comes too, with so many people watching them - a lot of supporters and some non-supportive people. Sometimes, I want to tell them not to be so hard on themselves… :’(

True. Wes, we really understand there are times you’ll feel off, and there are times you get ideas, and many times they don’t come right on the spot. Different people work at different pace, some can do things fast, some do it at a slower pace (I for one, am on the slower side too). It happens, and it’s really ok. Indeed, we love him because he’s Wesley Chan, Wesley is more than just ‘creative’, he doesn’t always need to be ‘creative’. Everyone has their own strengths, flaws, high times and down times, that’s very human, and nothing is perfect. In fact, it’s the imperfections that make each of us more unique in our own way, and the fails that make us learn & eventually be much better than before. 

Agreed, Wes, most importantly is that you enjoy and have fun doing what you want to do and be happy doing it :) and that’s where we’re most happy for you. We know you have high expectations for yourself, but sometimes it’s really ok to let go, let loose, and fall. Don’t be too hard on yourself, we love you just for who you really are, no expectations whatsoever :) just be Wesley Chan, and that is more than enough. ♥
